Franklin from the Peanuts Gang

Franklin is a fictional character created by Charles Schultz that debuted in his Peanuts comic strip July 31, 1968. He was created as a response to a letter from a Los Angeles schoolteacher named Harriet Glickman who urged Mr Schultz to introduce a Black character. He has been part of the Peanuts cast ever since and has also showed up in subsequent Peanuts cartoons. In his original appearance, Franklin quoted the Old Testament, and had no anxieties or obsessions. In animation he has been shown to be artistically inclined both through dancing the waltz and playing the guitar.
